Welcome — I’m Adaure, the creator and founder of YooAdaCare, a natural, aromatherapy‑inspired skincare brand rooted in intentional living, cultural grounding, and everyday softness. My journey with skincare began long before this business existed, shaped by personal experience, scientific curiosity, and a deep desire to help others feel confident and cared for in their own skin.

🌿 Where My Skincare Journey Began

Like many people, my relationship with skincare started with struggle. As a teen, I dealt with acne and the emotional weight that came with it — the insecurity, the frustration, the feeling of not being fully seen. When I finally had the resources to invest in myself, I turned to natural skincare and discovered how transformative simple, intentional routines could be. That shift didn’t just change my skin; it changed how I cared for myself.

Those early experiences planted the seed for what would eventually become YooAdaCare — a brand built on softness, intention, and the belief that caring for your skin is a form of caring for your whole self.

🎓 My Educational Background

My approach to skincare is grounded in science, research, and a genuine love for learning. I’ve earned:

• Associate Degree in Chemical Laboratory Technology
• Bachelor’s Degree in Biology with a Chemistry minor
• Master’s Degree in Chemistry & Environmental Science
• Currently completing my MBA in Marketing, studying consumer behavior, brand strategy, and the emotional psychology behind self‑care

Looking ahead, I plan to pursue a PhD in Psychology to explore how identity, culture, and wellness intersect — and how intentional care practices support emotional wellbeing.

This blend of science, creativity, and human understanding shapes every product I make.

✨ The Creation of YooAdaCare

YooAdaCare was born from my desire to create skincare that feels like home — warm, grounding, and intentionally crafted. As a Nigerian‑American woman, my cultural identity influences everything I build, from the ingredients I choose to the sensory experience of each scent.

I wanted to create a brand that honors:

• Clean, simple ingredients
• Aromatherapy‑inspired scents
• Small‑batch craftsmanship
• Emotional and cultural connection
• Intentional self‑care rituals

Every product — from body butters and oils to soaps and digital offerings — is handcrafted with unrefined raw African shea butter, plant‑based oils, essential oils, and natural colorants. I manage every part of the process, from formulation and production to storytelling and community engagement, because care should feel personal.
